Sunglasses that film, talk and listen
Ray-Ban Meta glasses look like classic Ray-Bans but hide a camera, open-ear speakers, microphones and Meta AI. Meta and Ray-Ban’s owner EssilorLuxottica have worked together since 2019 and extended their deal in 2024 into the next decade.
Gen 2
The second-generation glasses arrived in September 2025. They roughly double the battery to about 8 hours (48 with the charging case), record video up to 3K, take 12MP photos, and add a Conversation focus feature. Frames include the Wayfarer, Skyler and Headliner.
How they compare
Tom’s Guide gave them its Editor’s Choice, calling them evolution rather than revolution, at less than half the price of Meta’s Ray-Ban Display glasses.
Price and who it’s for
From $379, with thousands bought on Amazon each month. They are for travelers, creators and anyone who wants to film hands-free.
