Apple comes home
HomeView is Apple’s new smart-home hub, announced on October 13, 2026 and arriving November 13. It has a square 7-inch touchscreen and comes two ways: on a tabletop speaker base, or mounted on the wall.
What it does
HomeView runs your lights, locks and cameras, showing up to nine camera feeds at once, and makes FaceTime calls with Center Stage. It recognizes up to six family members by face so each person sees their own things, uses Spatial Audio, and runs on the A18 chip with the new Siri. It comes in silver, starlight, rose pink and space gray.
How it compares
HomeView takes on Amazon’s Echo Show and Google’s Nest Hub. Full reviews aren’t out yet, since it hasn’t shipped.
Price and who it’s for
$299 for either model; wall mounts cost extra. It’s for Apple households that want one easy screen for the whole home.
